Sewing Subscription Delivers Monthly Garment Project Kits For The Enjoyment of Sewings Hobbyists and Learners.

ThreadCrate is a celebrated sewing subscription business delivering garment-making project kits to its subscribers every month. The subscription offers a fun way of practicing the skill and developing it further one project at a time.

The kits come in the form of special crates containing materials and tools needed to accomplish the project. The items include a sewing pattern, fabrics, notions, tools, and other goodies especially curated by the ThreadCrate team.

The subscription’s garment projects are designed for sewers with skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate. ThreadCrate welcomes both seasoned practitioners as well as those with minimal experience and just starting their sewing journey. The patterns chosen by the team include easy-to-follow instructions to guide their subscribers step by step.

ThreadCrate offers several package options for interested subscribers. They may choose from one, three, or six months subscriptions. Once subscribed, members will select their preferred fabrics for their project by the 28th of the month. They may choose up to three or four different patterns. The ThreadCrate team then ships out all crates from the 1st to the 4th of the following month.

The monthly projects feature a diverse variety of patterns. These many include leggings, cardigans, sweaters, dresses, t-shirts, wallets, and much more. The crates come in two sizes, regular and mini. The number of items included in each crate depends on which size option the members choose.

Becoming a subscriber entitles its members not only to the monthly project kits but also to be part of ThreadCrate’s exclusive community. Members are also welcome to join the ThreadCrate Facebook group where they are free to share their finished projects, participate in discussions, get useful tips, and interact with other sewing aficionados.

The growing success of the subscription and the quality of its items are reflected in testimonies of members who share their own ThreadCrate experience.

According to one member, “I have subscribed to other fabric/pattern boxes in the past and have always loved them but this box takes the cake! No spoilers but there are so many awesome items in this box that I was doing a giddy dance before I even got to the fabric, which is also lovely. Such a joy to open. I can’t wait for the next one!”

ThreadCrate is the brainchild of founder Cassandra Ross. The hands-on business owner developed the idea for her subscription after realizing that sewing practitioners like her needed easy access to sewing supplies especially during the time of the pandemic. She personally curates and ships all crates.

Cassandra launched ThreadCrate in October 2020 and her business has been growing since then. Today, ThreadCrate also offers sewing subscriptions for women, men, and kids too.
